Speaking
Over the course of my career I’ve been fortunate to speak to groups ranging from school children to corporate leaders and, in the process, I’ve come to love it. Telling my story and connecting it to whatever is relevant with the audience is a unique challenge and making that connection is extremely rewarding. While working for RBC the past 2 years, I have had the honour of being an RBC Olympian, which allows me to develop my speaking skills through a wide variety of appearances/events. Whether you need a 5-minute speech at a smaller staff meeting or an hour long key-note address, I can adapt my presentation to fit the situation. If you have an event that you think I might be a good fit for, I’d appreciate the chance to talk through the details with you – please email me at scott@scottfrandsen.com!
I was asked to speak at the inaugural FEAT Canada in North Vancouver in November and the videos of all of the presentations are now up on youtube. It was one of the more difficult talks that I have done because I only had 7 minutes and my 21 photos automatically changed every 20 seconds. So, I couldn’t get sidetracked or elaborate on a point… I had to stay on topic and in time with the photos. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be! It was an honour to be a part of such a great event.
